A remarkable dinner program on the 9/11 Commission Report, a report which analyzes how 9/11 happened and what can be done to minimize the risk of terrorist activities in the future. Brought by the Association of Business Trial Lawyers.
The panel will consist of:
Slade Gorton, member of the 9/11 Commission, Of Counsel at Preston Gates & Ellis LLP and former United States Senator from Washington State, 1982-2000;
Jamie Gorelick, a member of the 9/11 Commission, partner at Wilmer, Cutler, Pickering, Hale & Dorr, former vice chair of Fannie Mae, former General Counsel to the Department of Defense and former Deputy Attorney General of the United States; and
Bill Lockyer, California State Attorney General.
