2003 - 2004 APABA Board Nominees
August 11, 2003Pursuant to Section 2, Article VI of the Bylaws of the Association, notice is hereby given that the 2003-2004 Nominating Committee has nominated the following candidates for the executive offices of the Association:
President-Elect: Paul J. Estuar
Vice President: Michael F. Yamamoto
Treasurer: Belle H. Hsu
Secretary: Sandeep Baweja
President-Elect Teri T. Pham will assume the office of the President on November 5, 2003.
The following persons were nominated for elected positions on the Board of Governors of the Association, each to serve a one year term: Lorinda Franco, David Halm, Kathryn Hirano, Margaret Johnson, Richard Kudo, Edward Lew, Mona Patel-Sikora, Raymond Sakai, Jean Song, Michael Suzuki, Diane Tan, Rosario Tobias.
In addition to the above nominated persons, pursuant to Section 3, Article VI of the Bylaws of the Association, any regular member of the association in good standing may be nominated for an elective office or for an elected governorship by the written petition of at least five members of the Association filed with the President at any time on or before August 25, 2003.
A ballot containing the names of the nominees for each office (except for the office of President) and the names of all nominees for the position of Governor will be mailed to each member of the Association entitled to vote on September 15, 2003.
